```Duties```
-Follow DPS policy to process telephone, electronic and faxed medication refills from pharmacies, providers and patients
- Perform basic clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Collect UDS and prepare laboratory specimens for testing.
- Assist with patient education and provide instructions for at-home care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the flow of patients in the clinic.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

```Skills```
- Basic life support (BLS) certification required.
- Proficiency in medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing procedures.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10 and CPT.
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients of all ages.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping.
