Location Statesboro Campus - Statesboro, GA Department Information Office of Financial Accounting Job Summary Assist with overall Accounting and financial reporting of University operations.
Responsibilities Monitor, review and abide by Division or Department internal control procedures Prepare, approve, post, and reconcile financial transactions for the preparation and review of the University's financial statements Prepare reconciliation and analysis of accounting records in connection with data requests Review accounting documents to verify conformity to pertinent policies, procedures, and accounting standards Develop and maintain reporting tools and guidelines to provide superior financial information which supports University's mission, strategic management initiatives, and leadership vision Participate in the preparation, review, and analysis of the University's annual financial statements by applying in-depth knowledge and analysis of applicable Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), Georgia Budgetary Law, and USG policies and procedures Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required Experience Two (2) years of experience in accounting field Proposed Salary $44,400 - $63,600 This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
