Bookkeeper

Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of bookkeeping and financial reporting for the company - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements - Perform budgeting and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial planning - Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner - Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger - Assist with year-end closing activities and preparation of audit schedules - Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during audits - Stay up-to-date with technical accounting standards and regulations - Utilize accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, or other similar programs Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Previous experience in public accounting or a similar role preferred - Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices - Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero or Quicken - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
