*Job Description:*
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to provide exceptional care and maintain the well-being of animals within our facility.
This role is pivotal in upholding our training standards and ensuring the health and safety of the dogs under our care.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for dogs, be able to work independently, and possess excellent communication skills.
*Responsibilities:*
* Maintaining obedience training concepts with dogs in our care.
* Feeding, watering, and exercising animals.
* Cleaning and disinfecting kennels, cages, and runs.
* Monitoring animal health and behavior.
* Providing basic medical care and administering medications as prescribed.
* Maintaining accurate records of animal care and behavior.
* Ensuring the safety and security of all animals in enclosures.
* Bathing and performing basic grooming of dogs.
* Professional interaction with clients, including greeting and possibly transporting dogs.
*Requirements:*
* Must be at least 18 years old.
* Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Reliable transportation.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
* A genuine passion for dogs and their welfare.
* Willingness to uphold dog obedience training standards while on property.
* Capable of lifting/moving dogs in excess of 100 pounds.

*Work Schedule:*
* Flexible, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
* This specific position will be primarily an evening shift (5 to 9 PM) with the possibility of morning shifts as well (7 to 11 AM).
* Shift length varies (3-4 hours minimum), depending on the number of dogs in the facility.
