Registered Nurse (PRN) - Sylvania, GA

Optim Medical Center - Screven is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse Med Surg Flex Shift for our Sylvania location.
Job Requirements: Primary Duties: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical-surgical setting.
Communicates with Physician/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology.
Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision and is willing to cover charge nurse shifts if needed.
Direct and indirect patient care that meets the psychosocial, physical and general needs of the patient.
Meets the communication needs of patient and family.
Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professionalism.
Communicates with physicians and team members regarding patients.
Administers medications via all routes.
Documents care provided.
Educates patient on disease process and medications.
Initiates and maintains IV sites.
Participates on Code team.
Responds quickly to changes in patient condition.
Ensures unit is running effectively.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education: RN.
Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
