Have a houndsky puppy that will be 1 year old on january 15th, her dad is a black and tan coon hound & her mom is a husky or klea kai.
Her litter had 7 in it 3 died in infancy and i killed 3 for continually getting out and killing my neighbors chickens, she is still alive due to being good, staying in her pen & not killing anything.
Had requested assistance prior to their birth & tried finding them a human mom to no avail(all my hoes are at least 2 hours away, most out of state) , as a single working male with almost all my work being far away/ out of state, didn't have time to train them.
So she isn't house trained yet.
Hasn't ever been to a vet, will need tlc, yet is a very sweet and loving puppy, all her short falls are a direct result of my incompetence as a parent.
Recently had my main vehicle indian given/ taken back after sale & i live in the country.
Haven't been able to find work around where i live/ in walking distance.
Am about to head out to a bigger city, am fine being homeless alone while working up to getting a car again, yet am scared they will run off & get hurt or lost while i'm working, so am looking to re home her, her name is blue, was the only one of her litter with blue eyes.
Also the runt.
Still have her mom, they are close, yet her mom is house trained.
So will be trying to bring her with, because i can ask someone to keep her inside while working.
Would be ideal for someone with kids or other dogs for her to play with.
Preferably in the country or with a fenced in yard.
She is pretty skinny, yet healthy, just very hyper outside.
If this sounds like a pup you may be interested in please respond to the post, i greatly appreciate you in advance.
May be a small rehoming fee, depending on if you have kids, live in the country or have a fenced in yard, just to make sure she is valued, have heard some stories of this not going well.
Her dad was my grandfathers dog, when my grandad passed i promised him he would get to have a family & ladopted her mom.
Yet attempting to do that before i had my shit together is going to lead me to starve or be homeless at this rate.
Her dad currently lives with my uncle, both parents were very well behaved, house trained, and have been like members of the family, sharing meals, sleeping with us, etc.
She is an excellent puppy, yet kind of skidish due to me not being the most calm 24/7 and her being the runt of her litter.
